LIFE

It has been 2 years, 4 months and some weeks since we got married! This blog has been idle for a while now so we thought of bringing it to life again.

Talking about life, we have exciting news to share - we're expecting a baby girl - our first child this August! She's kicking and punching in mummy's womb already and we can't wait to meet her in August. Papa says that our little bunny baby will be really sweet and good-natured. (and smart..like mummy..haha) Persis was in Melbourne some weeks ago and she bought lots of pretty little clothes for baby. Stuff for baby girls are just so irresistible!

Thank you all who showered much prayers and concern over Persis in her first 5 months of pregnancy. The vomitting and nausea became unbearable at times and it really decreased mummy's work productivity. Thank God that she is currently at NIE for a 4 mths course. Persis is much much better now and is enjoying every bit of the pregnancy. Baby's movements and the thought of holding her in Aug make the first 5 mths of 'suffering' worthwhile! Persis thanks God for her husband who has showered much love and extra extra care in the past few months. Many of you have asked for photos of the pregnant mummy - will post some photos soon..so watch this space. Persis hopes to show more soon so that people will start giving up seats for her on the trains and buses (so far, no one has! Haha).

Our baby girl is officially 22 weeks old this week!

"For You created my inmost being: you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

Psalm 139:13-16

A Psalm we prayed over our child before Persis even conceived. Oh the wonders of our God!
